The proper solution is that we need to make sure the Internal Order ID does not change. We should be able to accomplish that. Please give us about a week. And check back with us. When you submit orders, the Internal Order IDs are set and you can get them. When they do not change, you can always rely on them. And then you can get the order data using a specific order ID.
