We posted a response and did not notice any performance issue, but we realized we were testing on 1727. The apparent reason for the issue is performance improvements which apparently are having a detrimental impact with the particular configuration you are using which is a large number of volume profiles that consist of a small number of prices. There is going to be more memory use in this case. Otherwise, there is definitely a performance improvement in newer versions. We will work on some solutions this weekend.
