It is a good idea to have a dedicated solid-state drive for Sierra Chart. You do not have to install anything else on it.
If you get an SSD, make sure you leave the Data folder where it is under Sierra Chart, as that is where the historical data is being loaded from. Also, if you don't need Tick Data, you can save a lot of space (and loading times) by going to Time based storage units in Data/Trade Service settings. |
