There are actually two issues here. 1) "The Reversal Size does not mean that there is always going to be a minimum of three boxes before a new column is started". Sorry but this doesn't make any sense and it's contradicted by what's in your link: "If the price of the symbol reverses direction by the number of boxes specified by the Reversal Size Input setting or more, then a new column is created in the opposite direction." If the reversal size is set to "3 boxes" then you simply can't have a "2 box" reversal. Incidentally I only see this on my CL (Crude oil futures) and GBP (British pound futures) charts -- not on ES, YM, NQ, RT, EUR, or JPY. 2) My screenshot shows two charts with the same settings yet different bars. How is that possible? This is a consistent problem on the CL charts, and practically non-existent on the others. Thanks! |
