The only way to make a determination as to what is using the memory is to gradually open charts and configure them the way that you require to see what is using significant amounts of memory. You also need to understand that the memory use shown by a process is not only from the particular program running. It also is from the operating system file caching. And there can be other add-ons to the operating system like anti-malware software which do run within the address space of a program also potentially adding additional memory use, although not completely certain about this. There are a lot of possibilities. So one thing you may want to check is what is the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit that you are using compared to another copy of Sierra Chart you are comparing to. So you can see, this is not an easy question and one reason why we hesitate even answering these questions to begin with. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
