Hi Sierra Support Board, Is there a way to chart data with no aggregation as a point and line graph? I have my own market data, and I want to chart this data that I have aggregated via a custom approach and not have the charting tool do any aggregations. I have been using MS Excel in my analysis (attached screenshot); however, this tool is very cumbersome in doing annotations. Additional, annotations can easily lose their placement. Currently testing Sierra Charts to see if the graphing tool can address such annotation gaps of MS Excel along with some other limitations with MS Excel. Here is an example of the imported data subset: Symbol, Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Number of Trades, Bid Volume, Ask Volume ESH10,2010-01-03,23:00:01.000,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,1162,123,1162,0 ESH10,2010-01-03,23:00:01.001,1113.50,1113.50,1113.50,1113.50,5,4,0,5 ESH10,2010-01-03,23:00:01.002,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,14,5,14,0 ESH10,2010-01-03,23:00:01.003,1113.50,1113.50,1113.50,1113.50,54,6,0,54 ESH10,2010-01-03,23:00:02.000,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,1113.75,2,2,2,0 Data appears to import correctly (attached log) but difficult to verify until presentation format matches expectations as it is currently presented. Tried to make the following changes to support this goal: Chart -> Chart Setting ->Main Settings Days To Load: 100 Bar Period Type: Range per Bar - True (in ticks) | Point and Figure Bar (BoxSize in ticks) Graph Draw Type: Line on Close None of the above seem to get me to where I'd like to be... I have searched SierraChart.com documentation and did some Google searches with no success. I hope you can let me know if this is possible and if so, direct me to the correct documentation to get there. Thanks, Ethan |
