In my experience (especially in ES_F), the opening range is one of the most important intraday measurements. Currently, to my knowledge, you can only use High/Low for time period to specify the opening range. Many traders don't use time for this. It would be useful to have a native Opening Range Study that allows for users to specify the range based on bar type along with time. Goal would be to plot lines for the opening range using the high/low of only the first bar of the session and then be able to set the session start time. I am using a user created study for this but it does not work on the 64 bit version as far as I can tell. |
