Due to some minor changes in the way that the Sierra Chart installer is run from Sierra Chart, this has led to some problems in some cases where the installer does not actually run preventing users from being able to update Sierra Chart in some cases when using Help >> Download Current Version or Help >> Download Prerelease. In testing, none of these issues were noticed because they only occur under certain conditions. And the issue is some kind of Windows operating system problem which we are not understanding and appears to be some kind of bug on the Windows side. These issues are now resolved in the recent releases. If you are still not able to update, then just simply run this installer: https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartFileDownloader.exe Make sure you install Sierra Chart into the folder where it currently exists. Usually the default folder setting will be correct.
