I had no trouble using this functionality and no it is not correct that this is a windows issue because the only thing that changed is an update of sierra. Actually this does indeed confirm the problem is at the operating system level. We will not go into a technical discussion on this. Which is why eventually this functionality is going to get removed. We added this to the documentation: While this functionality is supported in Sierra_Chart it is only for users who have been using this functionality from the past or have a requirement for it. It is not something that Sierra Chart Support/Engineering will provide any help with if asked. Longer-term this functionality is likely to get removed.
Are you using IQ Feed because you use it with other programs? We do hear that from time to time. But unfortunately there is no current support for IQ Feed data feed when using a Trading service. We could add that and at some point we will get to it but we just have other priorities. Not likely for a long time. And therefore probably never.
