I would not recommend changing the Sierra Chart data files folder to within the sync folder because it contains the intraday (.scid) files which can be several gigabytes in size.
Every new tick would update the .scid file and cause whichever sync program to be constantly uploading a new version potentially several gigabytes in size. It would be a never ending nightmare for your internet.

So make a named folder within the sync folder to sync chartbooks. You could also manually copy study collections and Dll files here but you would have to copy them back and forth to the Sierra Chart data directory on each machine.

I was going to recommend Sugar Sync because it allows to sync existing folder structures, however it only allows to exclude folders not certain files like (.scid). Had it allowed to exclude .scid files then it would seamlessly sync Chartbooks, Study Collections and dll files. Also you have to have a monthly plan for sugarsync which costs a minimum of $7.50 per month. Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive have free plans.
