i'm using a 4 tick renko chart for the NQ. This morning i have a single bar spanning 31 points and over 9 minutes at this point (from 7111.75 down to 7080.75). when i switch the char to a 6 tick range it looks normal. Switching back to 4 ticks gives me the same over-extended bar. 5 minute chart on same contract looks normal also. i've seen this before when scrolling back through days, but not often and i wrote it off to a bad tick. This is obviously something else. uploading an image of the chart. As i'm writing the bar did finally end and create a new bar, but only after taking out the high of the bar. for some reason it would not start a new bar on the low. attaching both images, before the new bar, and after the new bar plotted.
