Is it possible to have a color bar based on alert condition that references data in a different chart? I have charts 1 and 2. 1 is a regular 5 point range chart. Chart 2 is a number bars chart that also has a volume study in region 2. Along with that volume study is a 10 period MA and a color bar based on alert study that triggers when volume of a bar is 2x greater than the MA and this works fine. I would like to show that alert on chart 1. I tried using the study on chart 1 with the formula =#2.ID25.SG1 >(2*#2.ID26.SG1) but that didn't work. I also tried using the Study/Price Overlay study but that didn't work either. Basically, I want one chart with just certain indicators which originate from other charts. Is this possible?
