Hi, I wish to create buy/sell and exit signals in a lower time frame chart using a study signal from a higher timeframe. I can create exactly what I want using the same study based in the same lower timeframe but cannot get it to work using the study in the higher timeframe. I am using the 'trading system based on alert condition' study, the study overlay (to bring the HTF study into the LTF chart) and referencing the subgraphs of the higher timeframe study (CCI) in the study overlay, but I cannot get a signal to trigger a buy or sell market order in real time? IT WORKS FINE IN BACKTESTING! As I say, the same-time-frame version of the CCI study, referenced in the same way using the 'trading system based on alert condition' study works a charm. Do I need to use a different approach? Thank you.
