Post From: CQG WebAPI for execution and SC for data - am I doing this right?

I have an account with Tradovate and must connect to CQG WebAPI to trade. However, the CQG data feed is quite frankly substandard, so I've subscribed to SC real time data. To use CQG WebAPI for execution and SC for real time data, do I simply need to select CQG WebAPI as my trading service and then check "Allow support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds", and do nothing else? Secondly, in "Integration with Trading Services" section of the Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed, it says: "If you pay separately to your Trading service for market data, you can unsubscribe from that market data you are now receiving through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed." Does that mean if I am already paying exchange data fees through Tradovate, I only need to subscribe to SC market data feed for SC real time and don't need to activate any exchanges through SC? Thanks in advance. |
