As a Transact client I am aware of the changes that you made on the data feed some months ago.(Which is much better now) For lagging data, refer to help topic 4: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails4.html This is not an issue within Sierra Chart. To avoid the lag use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed If you knew how Sierra Chart is actually internally designed to work with the data feeds, you would realize there is simply 0% chance whatsoever this could be on the Sierra Chart side. It simply is not. We have our own data feed which will not lag you can see that for yourself. We did have one user, no one else, point out an occasional <1-2 second lag during very very heavy periods, but we already addressed that yesterday. And we will be releasing further improvements, next week. But you will not benefit from this whatsoever unless you use this feed. This paragraph applies to our own data feed. Not to the TransAct feed. And that lag was never verified by us, we just accepted what they said. Now you can understand, why it is, our job is so difficult when these kind of problems are just getting dumped on us when they are simply not. And this is complicated further when users think they can be intelligent from their perspective and think they figure out the source of the problem when in fact they are totally wrong on that. The reason you see a difference on the TransAct software is because it is using the UDP protocol. When you look through this board, you will see nobody using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed who is mentioning any kind of lag issue these last few days. Other than that one user and we are not totally certain of the origin of the problem in their case. We never noticed any lag. But nevertheless, we do all we can to address something even though we do not notice it ourselves. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
