Hello, I am considering upgrading my computer to better suit my trading needs. So here's my question - is SC more sensitive to cores/threads count or clock speed of the CPU? I am currently running on an Intel Core i7 which has 4 cores/8 threads and clock speed at 3.5 Ghz. My potential upgrade is AMD Ryzen 7 1800X which has 8 cores/16 threads and clock speed at 3.6 Ghz. I usually run my SC with 6 chartbooks that has 50 charts in total, many of which has 3-4 indicators on them. I also run two other trading platforms and internet browser up to 15-16 windows. So would this update bring material difference to SC performance? Thanks, |
