As said this is not a CPU problem. The Sierra Chart triggered computer freeze may happen on chartbooks opening or on chartbooks closing (when it doesn't crash on opening, it always crashes on closing). The freeze is system-wide, not allowing for any further action with the OS interface, and it often comes together with detached Sierra Charts FLICKERING non-stop (as shown on the attached video on 1st post). Problem is not related to studies, corrupted data, Sierra Chart's "installation", antivirus/firewall, or corrupted chartbook files. After exhaustive troubleshooting, I have determined Sierra Chart is incompatible with the latest video drivers for my computer. You may want to add a section to your online guide about incompatibility with video drivers, assuming there is none. |
