Hello,

I have 2 questions. First, I have been having trouble with getting my NISS-NYSE data on Sierra Chart to match up to other data services' Advance-Decline lines. The numbers seem to be different early in the day and then they eventually sync up with other data service providers. A specific example follows: I know someone who uses TradeStation and his NYSE A/D Line bottomed out at around -1700 early in the day session on November 9, 2017. The NISS-NYSE chart that I have been using with Sierra Chart bottomed out at around -1100 to -1200 at the same time. However, the discrepancy between the two data providers seemed to go away by around 8:00 AM Central Time on November 9, 2017. I have attached a picture that shows my Advance-Decline line (immediately below) and the TradeStation Advance-Decline line (bottom). What is the reason for this difference? FYI, the Sierra Chart picture is using Pacific Time, and the TradeStation chart is using Central Time.

Second, I looked into the Advance/Decline line for Sierra Chart on the Market Statistics page found here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SCMarketStatistics.php. On that page, it says that the NISS symbol provides the difference between the ADV and the DECL. It also says that to get the "true Advance-Decline line," I have to add the Advance-Decline Line study to a chart with NISS as the symbol. I did this, and all that happened was a seemingly random line appeared and it had nothing to do with the Advance-Decline line. This is included in the Sierra Chart picture attached above. What does the page mean by "true Advance-Decline line"?. Could this be the reason the Sierra Chart NYSE Advance-Decline differs from the TradeStation Advance-Decline? Please let me know.

Thanks a lot for reading this. I'm sure you are very busy, and I look forward to hearing back about this issue.

Best,
Vinny
