Hello, I would like to present my query with an example. After drawing profile in crude oil chart where the high and low of the profile is 53.09 and 52.09 (100 ticks), if "ticks per volume bar" is set to 20, then usually we see 6 volume bars centered at 52.00 52.20 52.40 52.60 52.80 53.00. But I would like the volume profile of 100 ticks between 52.09 and 53.09 to be divided into 5 equal parts and 5 "20 tick" volume bars equally placed between 52.09 and 53.09 so that I will be looking at 5 volume bars whose centers are 52.19, 39, 59, 79, 52.99. In this way, I can get an unbiased view of volume distribution. Is it possible to attain this? Basically, just like how we have the option "ticks per volume bar", can we also have the option "number of volume bars in profile"? |
