Out of curiosity, since you are in Europe, why do not you use LMAX instead? What is the advantage of FXCM.
Well... I found FXCM first is probably the biggest reason, I was using FXCM feeds on tradingview for a long time. I opened a FXCM account with FXFlat brokers, which allow to open a "Standard" account with low deposit, I thought "why not ? lets try it". The biggest advantage to FXCM is no commissions on index cfd's. Also on SierraChart, very big plus on FXCM is that it has trade information ( can see balance and real trade information, on LMAX the fills differ from whats in the LMAX web client ) and FXCM feed has 3 or 4 times more ticks than LMAX ( except for Forex, but on index, for example US30, the difference of FXCM feed to LMAX feed is very big, something along the line of FXCM 144 ticks is LMAX 55 ticks ). If i had to choose only one, I would use LMAX ( I like their hability to change on which price the orders trigger, ask or bid ) |
