Post From: SC Places windows above my desktop so I cannot move/resize them!

Brand new SC user. Also, I am using a chart book supplied by a friend who is a long-time user. This is probably relevant because of placement settings stored in the chartbook, but that's just a guess. I can see charts inside the SC main window, i.e. as child windows. But when I try to detach a chart, it gets displayed with the lower half of the chart visible, and the top half of the chart (including the menu bar) off the top of the screen. The result is I cannot move or resize the window because the title bar (needed to move the window) is off the top of my screen). I do have a large desktop - 13 monitors. But frankly they all share the same top line, so hard to imagine why SC is trying to position windows physically off the screen. I am guessing maybe the person who sent me the chartbook had an unusual monitor config and the X,Y coordinates are set funny. Is there a way to tell SC to reset the stored placement coordinates or to otherwise get it to detach a window such that I can see and manipulate the title bar? Thanks in advance, Erik |
