the saved backup charts folder is also now blanked out.
This must have been caused by some system issue on your side. Sierra Chart would not delete any files in that folder. There are no log files within Sierra Chart for something like this. When a Chartbook is saved, there is a log line generated if there is an error and that would be in the Window >> Message Log.
