SC: That is better, SC; but, how many times do you think a trader will right click and select 'move attached stop to price' and as a result close out the position when what they really wanted to do was select 'move targets to price'? I know that I will surely make that mistake in the heat of battle. The way I mentioned above would take the thinking out of the selection process. The software would read whether a trader was long or short and whether we are above or below the entry and then depending where he/she clicked on the ladder, the appropriate order -- either the target or the stop -- would be moved. It would take out the possibility of error, since the software would read the market and the position and the location on the ladder where the trader just one clicked and the correct order would be moved. The other dom I have used has this function. You could make it to where it only requires setting a global command to move the appropriate stop or target based upon where the entry price is and whether a trader is long or short, and where he/she just left clicked on the column where the buy/sell entry price is. Then once this global command is selected, the one left click feature would be active for that dom or globally. For example, say a trader is in a long at 47.00 in the CL. They have their stop set to 20 ticks and their target set to 20 ticks. Now the market moves down to 46.90 and rather than having to right click on the ladder and select the move target to price selection, the trader could just left click on that same column where they just right clicked when they want to select the move target to price feature and the dom software would automatically move the correct order to that price level. It takes the thinking out of the equation and lets the trader focus on the trade and the charts and not whether to select the 'move target to price' choice or the make the 'move attached stop to price' choice. I sure hope you will make this change. Thanks in advance. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-07-19 19:29:56
