We have contemplated this some more, and it is good that no changes have been made. In general, since LMAX supports .1 quantities, and the fact that Sierra Chart only supports integers for quantities which is a very solid method to handle quantities, it makes sense that universally across all symbols, that a quantity of 10 equals 1 and 1 equals .1. As an outside service provider for LMAX, if we start trying to handle this differently for certain groups of symbols, over a long period of time we could make a mistake and mishandle a quantity. And some users are going to get confused by the change. So we are not planning any changes. And if we changed it, it inevitably is going to have consequences. Instead what we will do is add a multiplier/divisor which can be set on an individual chart to multiply an entered quantity by this multiplier. For example if this multiplier set to 10, when you enter a quantity of 1, then it becomes an actual quantity of 10. An individual user can set this on a chart, and start using 1 for CFD's. We do not know how soon we can get to this, but it is something we expect to finish before the end of the year. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
