When adding the bid-ask suffix the charts start to go haywire
We do not know what this means. And you certainly do not need to restart Sierra Chart. You could not have any potential serious problem with using that recording suffix. So we are very puzzled by the term "haywire". That is in conflict with what we know that recording suffix does. We recommend using the Bid and Ask Prices study instead: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=355#Bid_Ask_Prices Furthermore, we really do not know how that recording suffix would work with the Gain Capital data feed. Certainly no problems, but it looks as though there is a reduced number of recorded price updates. If i save the chart, it'll be perpetually broken and will have to be deleted This does not make sense. Simply remove the recording suffix through Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol. There is no such thing as a chart being perpetually broken. That is not even technically possible.
