The Sierra Chart interaction with Excel could cause Sierra Chart to freeze, or possibly run into exceptions and have stability issues causing possibly Sierra Chart to malfunction. We just do not recommended and that is why the Spreadsheet System for Trading study does not work directly with Excel. It would inherently be unreliable.
