I'm using SC charting to help with currency trading. The issue I'm having is the currency files are large and I need to use years of data. This is causing long chart upload speeds if I want to view to many days (ex. 2 years-730 days). I've been stuck using less than 200 days just so I dont have to wait as long. My computer is i7-2600 quad-core with 16 GB ram, and 250 GB HDD. I'm wondering if switching or adding a SSD will improve chart upload speeds? And if so, will the performance of the SSD be lowered since the currency files are so large (7-8 GB each, 28 pairs) Any help would be great |
