Although I also think that highlighting the currently active bid and ask prices in the recent (and current?) bid/ask columns has the potential to be a good improvement, it would not make sense without highlighting the last traded price in these columns as well (foreground / background). This is essentially what Jigsaw does. Without the last traded price being emphasized, such a change would imho do more harm than good and I would strongly prefer to leave things as they are.
