I did have a temporary glitch today where my live order dissapeared off the DOM/Chart, then reappeared (log below) Trade Activity Log Analysis: Support Assisted Trade Activity Log Analysis In this particular case there is no cost for this. This is fine, sierra chart automatically stops you from trading above your limit
No, this is not correct. You are receiving an order rejection error from the Rithmic system.Sierra chart won't flatten my position. It gives an error msg saying I have already used my maximum amount of lots, and can't use any more to close the position. This is because when sierra chart flattens a position, it just puts a market or in, for the opposite of the live position.
The error message you see is from the Rithmic system. A market order obviously is required to close the position. There is no other way and that should be clear to you. If you have outstanding working orders, then you may want to enable this option: Global Trade Settings Windows: Hold Market Order Until Pending Cancel Orders Are Confirmed (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) Are there outstanding orders at the time the market order is sent? I'm starting to discover than Sierra chart is not not really for professional trading.
