I've been attempting to retrieve stock option pricing in the format suggested... SPY-OPT-20100331-110-P-SMART-100-USD
However, the error log basically says this security doesn't exist.Can you suggest a solution? Also, IB has a nice feature of plotting the dividend dates and cash amount in the chart window, is this possible?
FYI - I'm just getting started with SC but really like what I see so far. The combination of price to features is the best I found. this weekend I'll start looking into ASCIL and perhaps I'll discover the answers to my questions, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated. |
