As a matter of fact when I place the trade on trhe DOM it disappears in s3econds. This kind of problem does occasionally occur with Interactive Brokers. It is fully documented here:http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#TradePositionLineQuantityDisappearingDisplayingZero Sierra Chart is very good software so we recommend finding another broker for trading futures. We recommend a broker supporting CQG or CTS: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Data.php#Services You owe it to your clients to warn them of this problem. We do. In the section linked to above and also this section:http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#TradingRelatedIssues hey blame Sierra for the problem and when confronted they tell me to call Sierra as it is not their problem. This kind of issue has been extensively examined by us for one particular user in cooperation with Interactive Brokers and it has been determined to be an Interactive Brokers issue and they have yet to still resolve it.Tell me how to send you a copy of the log showing that I cannot flatten a trade that does not exist even while Interactive shows a live trade open. http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#TradePositionLineQuantityDisappearingDisplayingZero We have done our best to solve this, but really it is at this point in time something that Interactive Brokers needs to solve. Really we recommend using a different broker. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
