Yes, we are fairly confident there was a memory corruption going on and the Open SSL library most likely was the problem. We are going to replace it with another SSL/TLS library. We do not have good regard for Open SSL. It actually had a very serious bug called heartbleed and is poorly documented. This is why there have been several forks of it to improve upon it. The corruption was causing various issues. We also have an idea why one user was also experiencing Sierra Chart just suddenly freezing. That also was caused by the memory corruption but the reason some particular versions had that problem was because synchronization was added to the DTC network connections. That is not the underlying problem and should never have caused a problem like this but could have if the critical section was getting corrupted.
