We have become aware of a potential stability issue in newer versions of Sierra Chart. Apparently 1498 is affected and possibly earlier versions. There could be messages in the Message Log indicating and an unhandled exception has been caught. When you see one of these messages you will need to restart Sierra Chart. One user also indicated a performance problem in 1498 which might be related. We are devoting full-time to pinpointing the source of the problem and resolving it. If we need more information will ask for it. If we need to work with a particular user on this problem in order to gain more information, it will be only in cases where outside custom studies are not being used and where the user is experienced with Sierra Chart. When we have had an issue like this in the past, generally we have been able to resolve this kind of issue in a matter of hours or a couple of days. But this issue is hard to replicate so it may take longer. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
