I contacted Rithmic support via phone, and was told that the reason R|Trader works on Vista and XP, is because they have no way of knowing what operating system a user has. They have just officially discontinued support. I had explained that I didn't realize this in purchasing Sierra Chart, as I would have to buy new o/s for 3 machines now, to use Sierra Chart between desktops and laptops when I travel. They have no way to provide a workaround, as it has nothing to do with Rithmic, which is evidenced by being able to connect to Rithmic data on the same machine that Sierra Chart will not connect from. Please help, I really didn't plan on buying 3 new O/S from Micro$oft. Is there something that can be toggled here? Thank you |
