Hi support (or anyone else), I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to do this, and if not then I would like to suggest it as a feature. When using a text tool, instead of clicking on the chart, right clicking, clicking 'modify text', deleting the default text, entering my text, and then clicking ok, is there a way to make this a bit more streamlined? i.e. a) click on the chart, the text properties window immediately appears so I can start entering my note right away or even better: b) click on the chart, a cursor appears directly on the chart and I can immediately start entering my note without even needing to go in to a separate text properties window and then having to clicking "ok". The idea would be when I select the text tool and click on the chart, I can start entering my note, and then when I click anywhere else on the chart, it exits editing mode and my text is now in place with the proper font settings according to the tool config that I chose on the toolbar before I clicked on the chart. I know this might sound trivial but when going through large numbers of charts entering notes, a more streamlined process would be really great. |
