1) Put the downloaded files in your Sierra Chart \Data folder. 2) With a chartbook open, focus the chart to which you want to add this study. 3) Click on Analysis >> VWAP ExtendPrev- 4) When asked 'Clear Existing Studies on Chart?' choose No. 5) This will add an instance of the Volume Weighted Average Price study, and an instance of the Spreadsheet Study study (named VWAP ExtendPrev), and it will set the default settings of both, and then a spreadsheet will open. 6) If you have existing studies on your chart, click on Analysis >> Studies and move the Volume Weighted Average Price study to the top of the Studies to Graph list. 7) While on the Chart Studies, change the default Time Period Type of the VWAP study to your needs (Time Period Type of Minutes will not work with this spreadsheet study). 8) On the spreadsheet, set J1 to match the chart's Session Start Time, and set J2 to match the VWAP study's Time Period Type. 9) If you want more than one band outside the VWAP, go to Analysis >> Studies >> ExtendPrev >> Subgraphs tab and set the Draw Styles of the respective SGs to Dash. |
