This is really 2 questions: 1) Is it possible to add text to a chart with a pointer? Obviously there are the Type Text and Stationary Text Tools, but these are simply blocks of text. If I want to identify precisely on a chart the area the specified text is referring to, I have to draw a line between the text block and a specific point on the chart. Then, if I want to move the text for any reason, I have to move the text block and line independently and re-align them. I suppose I'm after something that looks like the Chart Calculator tool when it's drawn on the chart, but with text I have complete control over (not a pre-defined label as with the Chart Calculator tool). Is this currently achievable either manually or through ACSIL? 2) I'm relatively new to ACSIL, but reading through the documentation it looks as though it is NOT possible to draw a chart drawing through ACSIL and have it saved when the chart book is saved or closed (even with AddAsUserDrawnDrawing set to 1). Is this correct, or is there a way around this. What I'm looking to achieve is essentially what I've laid out in my first question - I.E. I want to use ACSIL to draw text onto a chart, that a user can then interact with (move around essentially), and then be saved with the chart book. Is this achievable? Thanks |
