2017-02-05 update: The below information in this posting has been updated to be current. ---- 1. Recently Sierra Chart changed the method of payments and billing and the new method is documented here: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Renewing Access Usage time was paid for one month at a time and there is the long-term user discount. 2. Previous to the changes, there was both the multi-month payment discount and the long-term user discount. For various reasons this long-term user discount has not worked as anticipated. The long-term user discount is going to be removed January 15, 2017. 3. At this time we have now released the ability to purchase usage time in larger increments more than one month at a time. We once again now offer 3 months, 6 months and 12 months like previously. However, just like it currently is, the payment for usage time is from the Services Balance. So it is first necessary to add credit to that balance. You will be able to renew usage time with a form button anytime. When renewing usage time in increments of larger than one month, there will be a discount applied to the total payment price. The discounts are shown here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Multiple Month Purchase Discount However, if your account is entitled to the long-term user discount and this discount exceeds the current discounts, this long-term user discount will apply to the purchase of 3, 6 and 12 months up until the end of January 15, 2017. So if you want to take advantage of the lowest price possible, it is recommended to pay for up to 12 months of usage time on your account at this time. Renewals beyond the time length of one month do not apply to the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, additional systems or the CTS trading connection. 5.
