The more we contemplate this, the more we really realize that this is an inherent problem that can affect any trading platform. Whenever you have a burst of market activity like during an economic announcement, it is perfectly normal that a data feed is going to lag behind even if it is just 250 milliseconds or 2000 milliseconds. That is more than enough of a lag where if there is a several point move in a single second like in this case, where that lagging data is going to then be used for a trailing stop or a move to breakeven stop and be acted upon when it should not be.
