Ok I did already and I have the response... I hope you guys can sort out my problems with CFD-Forex using this information. That would be sooo great: "Dear Mr. Armendariz, The log file shows error message "No security definition has been found found for the request" when you attempted to place orders for Forex CFDs. The error basically means your order was not rejected, but the contract definition sent by the third party software cannot be recognized by IB. I see that the third party software define the contract as: Symbol = EUR.USD // This is not correct SecType = CFD Currency = USD Exchange = SMART They should instead define the symbol = EUR only: Symbol = EUR SecType = CFD Currency = USD Exchange = SMART If you just contact the third party directly, they should be able to help you out with defining a contract. If they are not sure how to resolve this, you can give them the correct contract definition provided above, they should be able to fix that on their side. Regards, Steven J.
