Reset DOM's VBP?

One of the things we want to point out is that you have 2 "Volume by Price Reset Button" studies on the chart and both are set to use "ACS Control Bar Button # for Reset" to "2". This is OK if you want to reset both Volume by Price studies at the same time. If you only want one to reset, then you need to change one of the studies to use a different ACS Control Bar button number.

Otherwise, we do not see any issues. The one thing we want to point out is that when you select the "Reset" button, it is going to set the "Volume by Price" study to have a "Volume Graph Period Type" of "From Start Date-Time to End" and the Start Date-Time is set to the date and time when you select the button. But this also means that the way the Volume Profile is going to be calculated is going to depend on the way the underlying data is setup for that Trading DOM. In particular, this Trading DOM is set to have a bar period of 5 minutes. As such, if you reset a profile, and then reset it again before a 5 minute interval has completed, then there will be no difference in the profile. This is because it is always starting at the beginning of the 5 minute bar in which the current time falls.

Let's say you reset the Volume by Price Profile at 13:03:23.00. The profile will recalculate starting from the bar that opened at 13:00:00.00.

If you want more granularity on your reset, then you need to change the Bar Period for the Trading DOM.

The most probable reason is that you have a study displaying that line, either as an Overlay or a study directly on the Trading DOM. Look through your list of studies on that trading DOM and remove any studies that are not supposed to be there.

Another possibility is that you are copying the drawings from another chart. Refer to the following for this, and remove any entries regarding this in the Trading DOM, as copying drawings does not work well to Trading DOMs.
Chart Settings: Copy Chart Drawings from Chart #'s (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu)

1. We are not seeing any line on the DOM in the Chartbook you have sent us. Attache is an image of what we see.

Did you copy the DOM to a new chartbook and send us that, or is this the actual chartbook where you are seeing the line?

2. There are keyboard shortcut options for the following:
- Reset Scales (default setting is "Alt - Shift - R")
- Reset Scales - All Charts
- Auto Scale the ChartDOM

Refer to the following for how to setup Keyboard Shortcuts:
Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu)

We do not see the same Control Keys that you have set when you send us a chart. The Control Bar settings are stored in the global settings files Sierra4.config. What exactly are those buttons set to (what item in the Control Bar list)?

Sorry, but we still do not see it. Attached is an image of what we see.

The things to try are the following:
- Remove any extraneous studies to ensure that it is not a study causing it.
- Duplicate the Trading DOM and see if the line shows on the duplication. If it is, then remove all studies, one by one, to determine if it is coming from any study.
- If it is not from a study, then select "Chart >> Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window" and remove any drawings that are on that Trading DOM.

That option does not work for Simulation Mode. It only works for live trading.

We are not understanding the question. Please give us more information on what you want to do.
