We do not need the Message Log. If there is an order rejection, we need to see the Trade Service Log which is a different log. I want to trade options occasionally, so yes. Mostly, I trade contracts. Are there advantages to Teton that I am not aware of or utilizing? Does Iron Beam require Teton for contract trading?

A second question please. When I enter a trade on the DOM, I want an automatic stop to appear to exit trade if it goes against me by a self determined number of ticks. I will set the profit target manually but I want the stop to populate automatically. I already have my key stroke settings to enter a long with a Buy Stop-Limit if my entry is above trading price. Likewise, I have a Sell Stop-Limit to enter a short if my entry is below trading price. If I enter with a Buy or Sell Stop-Limit, how do I place a new Stop-Limit to exit trade if it goes against me? Thanks!

You cannot trade Options with the Teton Order Routing. If you want to trade options, then you would need to use a different order routing service for that.

Please tell me what routing service I need to change to within Sierra that will still enable me to use IronBeam as I am now for e mini Nasdaq contracts. I would like to change that today. Thank you.

If you are wanting to trade Options, then you need to check with Ironbeam on which option(s) support this. We believe they use CQG and that CQG has the ability, but you really need to check with Ironbeam first.

Hi Team - I want a Stop to populate every time I enter a new trade. Not an OCO. I will manually delete the stop if it doesn’t trigger. I will manage my open position, close, and then delete my stop. I’ve looked through the manual and do not see exactly what I’m looking for. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

I could not tell if you replied or not since all I saw is “Ox Thanks”. My question is: Hi Team - Whenever I enter either a long or short trade, I want a Stop to automatically populate. I would think it would classify as an ‘Attached Order’ but NOT an OCO. I will manually delete the stop if it doesn’t trigger. I will manage my open position, close, and then delete my stop manually. I’ve looked through the manual and do not see exactly what I’m looking for. Your help is appreciated. Thanks. |

You can add just a "Stop" order in the Attached Orders tab of the Trade Window and then enter the order and just have the Stop associated with it.

Hi Team! I tried to figure this out by playing with pull down screen options but am inable to pinpoint how to get what I want. I welcome your help. This is what I want to do: 1) Stabilize DOM so it stays steady amidst volatility. It takes me too much time to put my cursor on the price I want. 2) Once DOM is stabilized, I want to be able to scroll the DOM ladder to where I want it as price moves. 3) I believe there must be a hot key to center the DOM so I don’t have to scroll wildly to find trading price. Helpful video links are also much appreciated. Thank you! |

1. To force the DOM to not move, refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Using Fixed Values for Top and Bottom of Scale Range 2. This is not an issue. 3. There are keyboard shortcuts for the following: - AutoScale the Chart DOM - Reset Scales - Recenter Trade DOM Scales (this is found under the Trade menu items) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
