You can build momentum tails for dom by simply adding volume by price in seconds time frame in a stepped time frame higher fashion. enable ONLY volume profile, then choose seconds as time frame, and repeat this process 5 times, first profile will be 1 sec with POC color highlighted. Second will be 5 sec with poc color off and no other highlighting, then repeat that as many times as youd like and you will see trailing profiles showing last traded volume for that time frame. I set mine to diagonal delta and have them spanning from a second to a min. here is link to a video I posted showing someone else how they work. Its not hard to do. once done, save all as study and then you can simply add them to whatever dom youd like https://youtu.be/9Qjw_vWocts

Hello SC team,

I found this post as I was working with the Recent Bid/Ask volume and was trying to clear the inactive ones as well. Since it has been asked by many people already, I am sure you would've put it on the priority list by now. So we'll be patiently waiting.

In the meantime, I saw in some other posts that we can manually clear the whole thing by right-clicking and then clicking on the "Clear Recent Bid/Ask Volume". Could you please tell me which function is being called when we click on that? I would like to see if I could have it done automatically every few seconds.

By the way, thanks @jmftattoo for the idea and video. I didn't know about the Momentum Tails thing until I saw these posts. It looks interesting.

For those interested, I found the function.

sc.ClearRecentBidAskVolume()

It does the job but in a crude way.

I already suggested this: Suggestion: Progressive fading of DOM recent trades

There should be a setting for it to fade progressively over XX seconds.
So if I set 10 seconds: it should start fading right after being visited, and be totally cleared after 10 seconds.
If you don't want a fade and prefer it to be cleared instantly set this to 0, so after 10 seconds it would vanish.

Hopefully fading would not consume too much resource.

Hello,

I am also interested by this feature.
As said, old traded volumes are polluting the recent traded volume column.
It would be great to have them disappear after a certain amount of time.

I know manual reset keyboard shortcut exists but it's not as practical as an automatic feature.

Regards,

I have used it on Jigsaw.
They implemented it badly.

It clears ALL recent trades cells every x seconds. Even those that were just visited.

This is NOT how it should be implemented.

It should clear ONLY cells that have not been visited since x seconds.
