That is a much better option. I will pass the information to the engineer.

Finally an answer as to the cause of this problem from T-Mobile. Sierra Chart's IP address is being blocked because it is part of an IP address space that was previously not open for public use. According to T-Mobile engineering the 5.0.0.0/8 network changed to public use about a year ago but their firewall rules were not updated to reflect that change.

They're looking into how they can resolve it. Like all big corporations there's lots of red tape involved.

Thanks for your support in resolving this problem.

Once we are made aware that their firewall issue is fixed, we will be able to enable alerts to tmomail.net addresses.

T-Mobile has implemented an entirely new email system with a different spam firewall (Syniverse) that they don't expect to exhibit the same problem. This change was planned before I started to work with them. Can you enable alerts to tmomail.net so I can test it again?

Thanks

I just tested it and DID receive multiple messages, so hopefully the problem is now resolved permanently. You should no longer be seeing server error messages. Thanks much for your assistance in getting this resolved.

T-Mobile has run into some unexpected problems with their new spam filtering equipment and has had to temporarily revert back to their old equipment. Alerts sent to tmomail.net will once again bounce.

They assure me that this is temporary and that once the problems are resolved with their new equipment they will permanently decommission the old. They expect that to happen no later than next week. I have changed my alerts email and will not be sending to tmomail.net until they resolve the problem.

We will have to block the domain if there is a significant number of bounced emails, but be assured that we will gladly unblock it once we are made aware that they have resolved the issues they are having.

T-Mobile has completed the migration to their new equipment and emails to tmomail.net are working fine. Thanks for your help with this.
