>>The Time and Sales window for a Trading DOM works for us when using remote data:

i believe the 57 and 20 are the inside bid & offer on your attached image, are they not? if so this image is irrelevant and unhelpful. or are these recent fills?

to be clear: on my chartDOM i have columns for both Current and Recent time&sales prints. these are the columns i am expecting to see populate as orders get filled. these fills will print when using broker data but not with DTN data from the source chart.

also note: currently i have both copies of SC set NOT to run as Administrator. i have also tried with them both set to run as Admin. no difference.

It is important when communicating to us, that you use the documented terminology and the specific field names you see in the user interface.

Those are never documented as Time and Sales fields.

These fields will not work when using data from a remote instance of Sierra Chart unless Use Non-Chart Data from Remote Instances is disabled. There is no possibility of this. So it took 25 posts to finally understand what it was you were referring to.

understood. i do try to use your terminology as much as possible. if something is not clear, please just ask. also, could you be clear as well and provide a reason why this is not possible? this is very important info, how do you expect traders to live without this?

Other than the market depth columns, those Chart DOM columns do not work across instances of Sierra Chart.

You need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed instead:

i find it kind of rude to use this opportunity to try to sell me on your data feed, assuming it would suit me. this is not your decision. i need MY tools (DTN) for MY reasons and it is arrogant to assume your data feed will supply my needs or that i am even interested in changing my tools.

fact is, your software does not play well with industry-accepted leading technologies and it is disappointing that SC Engineering defaults to this kind of tactic instead of digging into the issue and pursuing excellence. it is clearly a failure of the program's implementation (using dual instances for dual data feeds, which is your failed approach to this problem) resulting in a lack of a very basic feature of BEING ABLE TO SEE THE TRADED CONTRACTS. kind of important! here's an idea: FIX IT

What you are referring to is not Time and Sales data. That data does transfer across instances of Sierra Chart as we have shown and indicated in the above postings.

What you are referring are more specialized Chart DOM columns like the recent bid and ask volume. These are documented in this section here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalTradeSettings.html#ChartDOMColumnDescriptions

The ones that do not transfer across instances of Sierra Chart, are indicated that they do not.
