I'm seeking help figuring out how to resolve an issue I've been experiencing. I've noticed a consistent delay in my data feed on Sierra Chart compared to the Bookmap data feed. I'm using Bookmap with the BM data feed, and Sierra Chart with Denali/Teton, but the SC feed appears to lag behind it. During a period of high volatility, the lag reached up to 20 points at one time. Even before this recent volatility, I had already been noticing delays. On four separate occasions, my order was triggered before the actual price reached the order level. I've gone through SC support and went over the recommendations including adjusting my entry chart update interval to 100ms. I use a high-performance computer specifically built for trading, along with a wired Ethernet connection and high-speed internet with an average of 68ms to the server. I am located in California. Is there any additional configuration or optimization I can do within Sierra Chart to reduce or eliminate this lag? Thank you. |
