Dear Team,
Hope you are doing well.

i am a relative new trader and came across sierra chart. i wanted to get into order flow charts and sierra chart software is not what I am used to using, I was hoping you could help me understand the system and help me set it up.

i mostly trade gold and wanted to ask how I can access the orderbook of good trades from, for example, COMEX. and where can I do the payment to access this charts.

it would be helpful if you could send me a step by step guide or a link to a video which can explain what I need.

Thank you

You are currently on a trial, and there is limited data available during a trial. In particular, you do not have access to Gold (GC). Refer to the following link for what data is available during a trial:
Sierra Chart Trial Account: Introduction

We recommend working with YM and MES to learn how Sierra Chart works.

With regards to Order Flow, refer to the information for our Numbers Bars study:
Numbers Bars

Spend the 21 days of trial time you have available learning the system first. When you are ready to get into a paid package, then follow the instructions at the following link:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions

If you want one-on-one help with using Sierra Chart, then we recommend contacting one of the people at the following link:

Hey John,

I kind of now know how to use sierra chart now. did some training by watching youtube videos. i wanted to ask does sierra chart provide DOM or like a setting in the numbers bars study which shows limit orders from around the world.

Like what i want is, i want to see how many trade orders are there which are not executed in every price point. is there a setting that i can use to do that.

I am currently using Numbers Bars with Bid Vol x Ask Vol setting on XAUUSD instrument in the CFD - FXCM.

and do i need to be in another exchange in order to see the non executed orders like COMEX?

Thank you.

Yes:
i wanted to ask does sierra chart provide DOM or like a setting in the numbers bars study which shows limit orders from around the world.
Refer to:
Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Trade DOM

Trade Menu: Draw DOM Graph on Chart (Trade menu)

File Menu: Open Market Depth Window (File)

You cannot use a CFD symbol like XAUUSD for market depth data.

You have to use COMEX futures. The symbol is currently GCM25-CME

1. In order to get any real-time data for paid exchanges (such as the CME Group) you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. This is also necessary to connect to trading services. Refer to the following:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages

2. Follow the instructions at the following link to make a payment and activate a package:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions

3. Yes. If you change to a paid package while you still have trial time remaining, that trial time will convert to the purchased package (so you do not lose it).
