alright lads, please take a look at the screenshot. i've selected 175 ticks using the true range per bar format. can i ask why it's showing 8.75 range on the chart. surely it should be showing what i've selected in ticks? it's a bit confusing, after a while, i can't remember the setting i chose and it doesn't help the number shown on the chart is different. surely the figure and type should represent what i've chosen. please advise ta

What is shown in the chart is always in Points for the range. So 175 ticks divided by the number of ticks in a point (20 in this case) give the range of the bar.

Understand but it’s so confusing because if you select say 175 range, there is nothing that shows that. The button I have assigned to that range isn’t even highlighted. Can you not do something about this in a future update?

It has been this way for a long time and is not something that we would change due to the number of people that are used it working in the way it is.

If you want to have something else displayed on your chart for the Bar Period, then refer to the following thread:
