Hello,

I have a problem that continuously shows up for about 2 weeks. This is the approximate time when I temporarily stopped using the Sierra Chart datafeed. Now I am using data from my broker OEC.

Usually after session open my charts starts getting crazy. Last price for the same product on minute charts is different than DOM price etc. Its impossible to trade until the markets calm down (but even then I have not much trust in my charts or orderflow). This always comes up with higher volatility.

I am enclosing screenshot with my today's mini Nasdaq chart where Last price on 2 minute chart is 4048.50 but DOM is 4049.50.

Do you think that this problem may be caused by using bad datafeed, platform or by weak PC performance (which in my case is possible).

Many thanks,

Tomas

This is a well-known OEC data feed issue. This can be confusing to understand but the OEC feed is unusual in a way that it works.

What is happening is there tick by tick FAST data feed is lagging.

You may want to look at using another service other than OEC. They have been told about the problem but as of yet there is no resolution, so we do not expect they will resolve it.
