Dear Team,
just noted that using dax future on eurex, e.g. FDAXH25-Eurex, the platform shows different closing levels.
Here attached the screenshots with some examples from March 14th 2025:
1) On the "historical" chart, the daily candle closes a 22948.
2) On the "Volume profile" chart, it shows 23110 using the study "Daily OHCL"... (yellow line on the chart).
3) On the "1 minute candle" chart, it shows 22090 as eod closing candle.

I am quite new in Sierra and I would really appreciate if you could explain me the "differences", meaning what the platform provides in this case and how to consider them / or any advise for set up in this case.
The session time of the graphs is set from 1:00:00 to 00.59:59.

Thanks a lot.
Kind regards,
Luigi

To start, refer to the following regarding Daily Historical data and Intraday prices:
Historical Chart Prices

With regards to the other two intraday charts we do not understand what you are looking at and comparing. You have crosshairs showing at 21:59:00 in one chart and 01:00:0 in another. And we are not sure what the end point of both charts are, so we can not compare the latest value in those charts.

You need to ensure that you are looking at the same time in both charts by checking the Time Zone for each chart and making sure that you adjust for any differences in the time zones.

If you still have a problem, then we need to see charts with the appropriate information showing. It is best if you use the crosshairs on both charts to look at the last bar for the session and take an image with the crosshairs on.

thanks a lot for the info about the Historical Charts.

With regards the other two intraday charts, I am trying to compare the close of the day.
> On the 1 minute chart, (3), I moved the crosshair at the 21:59 candle. where you can find the green line showing the close at h22:00 at 22090. I assumed that the close is at h 22:.00.
> In the VP chart, (2), the timing of the crosshair is not of reference. Having a daily VP as graph I am applying the study "Daily OHCL" which shows the close of the day at 23110.

I am trying to understand why the two levels are different.

Thank you!

Make sure the charts have the same Session Times. Otherwise, you are not properly comparing the right information. Refer to the following:
Chart Session Times

If the market close for the data is at 22:00:00, then the 1 minute bar with a starting time of 21:59:00 will have its close as the close of the session. You should NOT look at the bar that starts at 22:00:00 - that is the start of the next session.
